This is a berimbau, a brazilian gourd instrument made of a wire strung tightly on a piece of bowed staff. There is a wah kind of effect made as you move the gourd in to your belly. There is some ambiance added to the sample, but it's mostly the instrument that you hear.

My try to "sing" for the user zostar. It's the german version of silent night. I don't think i'm a good singer but i wanted to help her so much! :)no attribution needed. But if you send me your project where you use this or parts of it i will be very glad! ;)made with my voice and recorded with a cheap microphone in audacity.
Made with audacity. 3 cars in one race, one of them spins out and crashes into a wall. 911 was called, the 2 other cars pulled over to help the crashed driver.
Woman taking six slow, deep breaths, mouth closed. Deep, calm breathing. Recorded with a rode ntg 3 and a tascam dr 100 in the closet, very faint traffic noise can be heard in the background.
Some guy or creature roaring. I recorded this track for a cartoon show, but i scrapped it and tried a similar approach, cause this one sounded too much like a monster sitting in the sewers.
